Reed has as B.A. in public policy from American University and is passionate about studying philosophy and its intersections with other disciplines. Reed was a nationally ranked debater in high school, and since graduating has coached LD and PF teams at both the middle and high school level to national success, both as a freelance coach and for one of the most successful club programs in the country. His students have championed almost every major tournament, including Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, the NYC invitational, and the Tournament of Champions. Reed has also spent multiple summers teaching at the National Symposium for Debate as a lab leader, and is excited to join the team at Bergen Debate for the coming school year. Outside of work, Reed enjoys hiking, biking, practicing martial arts and enjoying the wonders of nature.
