Hanna Shakarov is a Bergen Debate Club alumna, and joined the club in 7th grade. Hanna is a Business Management major at Wake Forest University, where she was awarded the Presidential Scholarship of Distinguished Achievement in Debate and competes on their policy team. In college, Hanna championed the Atlantic Coastal Conference and reached quarters at the Mid America Cup. In high school, she was a 2x Qualifier to the Tournament of Champions in Public Forum Debate and was ranked the 1st place team and speaker in Bergen County for two consecutive years in Oregon Policy Debate. Hanna has worked at Bergen since 2020.
