How to Refer a Friend:

Step 1:  Go to your Bergen portal and click on the “Referral” tab.

Step 2: Enter an email in the “Refer a Friend” section to send friends your discount code. You may also send your code directly to a friend to be used at checkout.

Step 3: Your friend purchases a Bergen Fall or Winter/Spring class and enters your discount code at checkout.

Your discount code MUST be entered to be eligible for rewards.

Step 4:  Check your Bergen Portal to track success.

Step 5: Receive rewards within one month!

What is the Bergen Referral Program?
The Bergen Referral Program allows you to earn rewards by inviting new families to join Bergen Debate. For every family you refer, you both receive $100 in class credit—and you can unlock even bigger rewards as you refer more people.
Who can I refer?
You can refer any family that has never registered for a Bergen Debate class before. They must be new to Bergen in order for the referral to count.
What does my friend get if I refer them?
They’ll receive a $100 discount on their first class. This stacks with other discounts, including Early Bird pricing and trial discounts.
What do I get if someone uses my referral link or code?
You’ll receive:
• $100 for each successful referral.
•  Bergen swag for your first few referrals.
• A $1,000 credit at your sixth referral.
• $150 per referral for every new family after that
You can track your progress in your Referral Dashboard inside your Bergen portal.
When will I receive my rewards?
Rewards are issued after the familyyou referred successfully registers and pays for their first class. Class credit will be added to your account within one month, and swag will be issued to your student in person during classes.
Is there a limit to how many families I can refer?
Nope! There’s no limit to how many families you can refer or how much credit you can earn.
What if someone forgot to use my link or code?
Unfortunately, we can only honor referrals that are tracked through your unique link or code. Make sure your friends use it at checkout!
Can I transfer my class credit to someone else?
No. Referral rewards are non-transferable and must be used by the account that earned them.
How do I check how many referrals I’ve made?
Visit your Referral Dashboard in the portal. You’ll see how many referrals you've made, your reward status, and what milestones you’ve unlocked.
