Evan debated for 4 years at Miramonte High School. During his career, he most notably reached late out-rounds at the California State Championship and NSDA Nationals placing as high as 32nd in the nation. In College, Evan debated for Wesleyan University where he earned individual awards at the Harvard and Yale tournaments and championed the UMass Amherst Invitational. Since graduating from Wesleyan with degrees in political science and philosophy, Evan has taught debate at numerous schools and academies, assisting teams in qualifying for the TOC and NSDA nationals.
