Julia has a B.A. in Strategic Communication (Public Relations and Advertising) as well as a B.A. in Theater from Butler University. She has an M.A. in Communication from Marshall University. Julia has coached at both the collegiate and high school levels of speech and debate and competed at the collegiate level. Some of her favorite events to do/coach are Original Oratory, Impromptu Speaking, IPDA debate, and, of course, Public Forum. She has helped coach multiple TOC and NSDA National qualifiers in many different events, and most recently helped coach a two-time NSDA National Champion in Extemporaneous Commentary.
